この日はそれぞれのアーティストがプロジェクトに必要なリサーチのために
訪問者が来ては去り、来ては去り..のにぎやかな土曜日でした。
It was busy on Saturday. We had many visitors, some of them were visiting for researches for artists' project.


オズギュルの探しているもの、調べたいことを確認して、スタッフが伝えます。
The staff is intermediating between Ozgur and the visitor, telling him what he is researching and looking for.


ウンジュも自分の作品について、地元のお母さんとの会話を重ねながら説明していきます。
Eunju is also talking to the local lady, explaining about her work.

そしてこの日は、1997年度の招聘アーティスト、ヨハン・フリンツァーさんが来日を機に
アーカススタジオを訪ねてくださいました。
And this day, Jochen Flinzer, the former resident artist in 1997 visited ARCUS. He is now visiting Japan again.


'97年度のカタログを見ながら、地元の方も思い出す、当時の記憶。
ヨハン、全く風貌がかわっていません。
The local man is remembering the memory from the past, leafing through the catalogue from 1997. Jochen looks exactly same as in the pictures from that time.

ここで先輩、ヨハンやスタッフ出田君、歴代の招聘アーティストと今年度のアーティストが会話する風景がみられるのも、Re:AIR展があってこその光景かもしれません。
この展示開催中には数々のOBアーティストがやってきました。卒業生に会えることは嬉しいものです。
This would be a particular scene because of the exhibition "Re:AIR", former resident artists Jochen and Goh (now as a staff) talking with the resident artists for this year.
Many former resident artists visited ARCUS during the exhibition. We're glad to see the former artists coming back again.



この日の夜の「プロジェクトFUKUSHIMA!」の上映後、映画の翻訳がなくともいろいろな質問が飛び交いました。会話はとどまることなく...
After the screening of "Project FUKUSHIMA!" this evening, although the film didn't have English subtitles, they were talking about it actively, and the conversation went on...
